I just upgraded to Movable Type 3.31...let's see how I do now. :) I haven't installed any of the sooper-dooper stuff yet -- but the base system seems to be up and running.

A little tipsy -- had a wee bit too much wine with dinner. :) Since I started with a really empty stomach, um, erm...

R and I were watching "Cirque du Soleil: Fire Within," and I started muttering things in French. "Non, tu chantons tres MAL!", etc. Since my French sucks butt, I eventually resorted to such little-known phrases as "Le Thingy!" "Je veaux le thingy!" "Je suis une thingy!"

Let's face it: I probably sound like a drunk Pepe le Pew right now. Vive la France!

In other news...hugs and support to my friends in Astoria without power for the fifth day. I know for a fact that my former apartment building is affected -- and the bullshit keeps getting shoveled. One day, ConEd says 2,400 are without power...and that's now been upped to 25,000. No big difference, eh? And it's an area with a lot of elderly residents, who also have no food, either...no power, no fridge, no food.

Hope the lights are on soon, guys...

I played kickball last night -- on a team and everything! Did you feel the earth tremble? As we all know, me + being outside + organized athletic activity = CERTAIN ARMAGEDDON.

Seriously, something should have blown up, no?

Anyway, we lost 25-3...and we've all learned that I can't run in a straight line...and there was that time when I couldn't find second base. BUT my kicks were really good, so that counts for something.

I'm probably playing again next week. Game on! :D
