In other news...hugs and support to my friends in Astoria without power for the fifth day. I know for a fact that my former apartment building is affected -- and the bullshit keeps getting shoveled. One day, ConEd says 2,400 are without power...and that's now been upped to 25,000. No big difference, eh? And it's an area with a lot of elderly residents, who also have no food, either...no power, no fridge, no food.

Hope the lights are on soon, guys...
